Stave-building techniques in the past, present and future

As their 2008 project, the Ryfylke Museum examines the stave construction methods and skills that have been accumulated and maintained through practical use up through the generations. The museum’s project includes an exhibition, a seminar and hands-on, practical work.

On 28 August, craftsmen, architects, museum curators and other interested parties are invited to the seminar entitled «Stave constructions in the past, present and future» at the Nesa Wharf at Sand.
