SIVA’s 40 year anniversary.

On 21-22 of April 2008 SIVA – the Industrial Development Corporation of Norway had a big celebrated of its 40 year anniversary in Trondheim, Norway. This great event gathered more than 200 guests among them SIVA’s workers from different structures in Norway and also from Russia, Baltic countries, Bosnia-Herzegovina besides there were a lot of representatives from partner-companies having a very close negotiation with SIVA.

“We’re very glad to see so many colleagues and partners here today on our 40 year anniversary celebration.”- welcomed all persons present in the beginning Harald Kjelstad, the administrative director of Siva. He told about the ups and downs of Siva during this long period and its plans for the future concerning economic outlooks-“In 100 years, Norway has climbed from being one of the poorest economies in Europe to one of the richest, and has a steady and high economic growth. During the last 40 years SIVA- the Industrial Development Corporation of Norway has created innovation systems and innovative concepts. During the last 15 years SIVA has also implemented the same concepts abroad in emerging economies and post-conflict countries. These states with emerging markets proved to be fertile ground for flourishing innovation systems based on concepts designed by SIVA”, so now a new SIVA gains its internalization!

Official dinner was a good final part where all people had a chance to get to know each other, to establish contacts, net-work and of course to have fun! There were a lot of congratulations, speeches, gifts and a gorgeous entertaining program for all from the event organizer, SIVA.
